Managing the Mind: Grounding Practices to Treat Anxiety & Stress

We are delighted to welcome Pam Brockman, local trauma relief specialist, to Root Medicine. Pam will be presenting a free, 75-minute presentation on healing tools to manage anxiety, stress and negative thinking.

Pam Brockman is a senior teacher of the Art of Living Foundation (www.artofliving.org) and the International Association for Human Values (www.iahv.org). Pam has been practicing meditation and self-development techniques since 1971. She is a local instructor of “The Power Breath Meditation Workshop”, an interactive workshop offered through Project Welcome Home Troops. PWHT has created a safe and effective body resilience-building program for returning veterans. In addition to her local work with veterans, Pam travels internationally and teaches the Happiness Course, Sahaj Samadhi Meditation, Sri Sri Yoga, the Art of Silence Course as well as ART Excel courses for kids, and Youth Empowerment Seminars for Teens. She also provides specialized courses help assist veterans, prison inmates, law enforcement & victims of crimes and for anyone experiencing depression, life threatening diseases and trauma.
